Vice President – Quality
Pam Sweeney, MSM, RHIA, CPHQ, is the Vice President of Quality responsible for quality, risk management, service excellence, patient advocacy, case management, social work, utilization management, performance and clinical outcomes, medical staff office and infection control functions. Sweeney also coordinates system-wide activities related to compliance with outside regulators, including The Joint Commission and serves as the Network consultant for our Critical Access Hospital.

Prior to joining GPRMC in 1986 as the Director of Quality, Sweeney managed the Health Information functions at Cheyenne Regional Medical Center, formerly, DePaul hospital in Cheyenne, Wyoming and Faith Regional Medical Center, formerly, Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Norfolk, Nebraska. She's also been a Health Information Management and Joint Commission preparation consultant in the area of Patient Support Services.

Sweeney has a Masters in Management from Lesley University in Cambridge, Massachusetts and a Bachelor's in Health Information Management from College of Saint Mary in Omaha, Nebraska. She is currently certified as a professional in healthcare quality.
