Diagnostic Imaging at
Great Plains Regional Medical Center:
The Future is Here

In the not-to-distant past, physicians could only guess what was inside the human body. Today, with the recent advances in medical science and technology, diagnostic imaging is a vital tool for physicians. What was once simply known as the X-Ray Department is now a huge field of medical imaging, encompassing numerous technological breakthroughs that serve as an alternative to surgical exploration and give physicians a clearer picture of a patient's condition.

Great Plains Regional Medical Center continues to keep pace with the latest medical advances and is proud of the imaging technology and the imaging staff it has available to its physicians. The technology includes not only X-rays, but CT scans, nuclear medicine scans, MRI scans, fluoroscopy, and ultrasound. Having all of these technologies at one hospital makes Great Plains a "one-stop shop", and are invaluable to physicians in the care they provide their patients. They also place Great Plains in the top tier of hospitals in the region.
