 Dr. Bossard completed his medical training and internal medicine residency at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. He has been board certified in internal medicine since 1990. After his residency, Dr. Bossard moved back to Lincoln and served as president and managing partner of Lincoln Internal Medicine Associates before establishing the hospital medicine practice, Inpatient Physician Associates, in 2001.
Dr. Bossard's many leadership positions include Chairman of the Department of Medicine and Chief of Staff at BryanLGH Medical Center. He served on the Board of Directors of the Lancaster County Medical Society as well as the Board of Directors of the BryanLGH Medical Center. He currently serves as the BryanLGH Medical Staff Quality Designee. Dr. Bossard also serves on the Board of Directors of the Nebraska Community Blood Bank and sits on the Foundation Board of the Lancaster County Medical Society. He is also a charter member of "Team Hospitalist," a physician editorial advisory panel for the Society of Hospital Medicine publication, The Hospitalist.
