NEW CATHETERIZATION AND ELECTROPHYSIOLOGY LAB
A recent $5 million investment enabled the heart center to dramatically expand its services to patients. Our new catheterization laboratory accommodates the latest technology and equipment to produce crystal clear internal images, resulting in more accurate diagnosis and treatment.
ECHOCARDIOGRAM
The Echocardiogram Laboratory, or Echo Lab, is a state-of-the-art accredited laboratory. Our physicians and sonographers perform and interpret echocardiograms, stress echocardiograms and transesophageal echocardiograms (TEEs). These diagnostic echocardiograms provide our physicians with valuable information to assist in detecting heart abnormalities.
MEDICAL TELEMETRY
Cardiac patient rooms designed to provide specialized care for those patients who need continuous heart monitoring, while giving patients the freedom to move and interact within the unit.
INTENSIVE CARE UNIT
Intensive Care Unit (ICU) serves the hospital's most critical patients, providing close observation by our specialists around the clock.
MEDICAL CARDIOLOGY
The Great Plains Heart Center and their trained staff offer medical cardiology services and office consultation, protime and pacemaker clinics, as well as diagnostic tests on an outpatient basis.
