Great Plains Healthcare Foundation offers information about general and planned giving. Referrals to qualified CPAs, attorneys and estate planners with specialized knowledge are available and consultation is recommended.
Cash
A gift of cash is the simplest way to support Great Plains Health Care Foundation. Whether you have a specific program in mind or just want to make a general gift, your donation will make a difference. Gifts of Appreciated Assets: Transfer securities that have appreciated in value to the Foundation. Your tax deduction will be based on the fair market value of the asset on the date of transfer.
Charitable gift annuities allow donors to make tax deductible contributions to a charitable organization. In exchange for the charitable contribution, donors receive regular annuity like payments for their lifetime(s).
Gifts of Life Insurance can be made by naming Great Plains Health Care Foundation as the beneficiary in your Life Insurance Policy. This may be an option if you reach a point in your life where life insurance no longer has the financial significance for your family that it once did.
A Gift through a Will is one of the easiest and most common ways of making a difference in the future of the Foundation. You may name Great Plains Health Care Foundation to receive future assets from your estate after other obligations have been met.
Children’s Wall
Train plates can be purchased and inscribed to honor births at GPRMC or to celebrate births prior to the start of our program. Larger plaques are also available as a tribute to someone speical in your life or as a way to simply support our program. Our Children’s Wall is on display in Women’s Services, 3rd Floor.
Memorials
By honoring the life of a loved one or friend with a gift to Great Plains Health Care Foundation, you are helping to make our regional hospital a center of excellence in health care.
