Neurological Sciences Over $130,000 was raised at the 2011 Gala; Casino Royale. Funds were used to purchase new electroencephalogram video (EEG) equipment, additional computer monitoring equipment/software for sleep studies, and Telemedicine equipment for acute stroke treatment.
Great Plains Heart & Vascular Center Funds raised at our 2010 Gala supported the purchase of the Volcano Imaging System. The system is used in diagnosing and treatment planning for vascular blockages.
Staxi Wheelchairs Two Staxi Wheelchairs were purchased for patient use. These special chairs are new, modern, offer a smoother ride and are easier for volunteers and caregivers to push.
Callahan Cancer Center A laryngoscope was purchased to help oncologists diagnose damage in radiation therapy patients. Early detection of damage helps prevent additional damage to the vocal cords and helps in maintaining the ability to eat normally. Construction is currently underway for an additional patient examination room and offices to aid in patient treatment planning.

Digital Scales for Congestive Heart Patients
Patients in Need Medication assistance and gas cards for transportation assistance.
Patient Resource Center English/Spanish medical reference books were purchased, including an anatomical chart, a medical dictionary, and a Merck Manual.
Grief Camp The 2012 Footsteps Grief Camp was held Saturday July 21st at McDonald Elementary School. This was the fifth year for this day-long camp which began to help children and families work through the grief they experience when they lose someone they love.
