EVERY DOLLAR MAKES CHANGE HAPPEN
Every gift is important to fulfilling Great Plains Regional Medical Center’s vision to provide excellence in patient care. Foundation donors may choose to support the area of greatest need or designate the gift to an area meaningful to them. Grateful patients may make a gift in gratitude for the good care they have received. Gifts are also accepted in memory of a loved one or as a tribute gift in honor of a special occasion.
Your gift can make a difference, whether in an area of importance to you, or to support the general needs of GPRMC.
Area of Greatest Need
A general donation allows the Board of Trustees to fund projects and purchases as needs are identified and requests are made.
Equipment & Technology
Medical technology is advancing at a record pace. A donation to this fund will assist in the purchasing of the latest advancements in health care equipment.
Patients in Need
Oftentimes, due to a lengthy medical stay or long term illness, patients struggle to afford the necessary medications required to return to health. Patients may also be referred to a specialist in Omaha or Denver and may need assistance with transportation. Gifts to our Patients in Need fund will help with medication assistance and gas cards. Patients are screened by our Case Management department before being approved for a gift.
Scholarships
A fund is being developed to gift scholarships for education in a health science field. Please contact the Foundation for more information about creating an endowment fund used for scholarships.
Callahan Cancer Center
A gift to the Callahan Cancer center will help in a variety of ways. All gifts are devoted directly to patient care and cancer center improvements.
Hospice
The Hospice program is made up of kind, generous, and caring individuals. A gift to Hospice will help provide volunteer training, grief camps, and resources for those who are coping with the death of a loved one.
Children’s Wall
The Foundation offers you a way to commemorate the birth of your baby with a place on our Children’s Wall. This beautifully designed wall features the names and birth dates of babies born at Great Plains Regional Medical Center. It is a wonderful reminder of the joy and celebrations surrounding our children’s’ births.
