Providing a safe, therapeutic environment for patients with psychiatric needs in a cost effective and sensitive manner.

 

The Adolescent Partial Hospitalization Program serves adolescents with psychiatric disorders in an outpatient setting.  The program meets 6 hours a day Monday through Friday.

Individuals who would benefit from this level of treatment are those with significant impairment in family, community, and/or school functioning, yet are able to safely live at home. 

It also serves as a therapeutic transition for those patients who were in the inpatient program and have now been discharged to home.

 

Criteria

Demonstrates inability to function in family, community, and/or school

Able to actively participate in program

Has personal goals for treatment

Commitment by parents/guardians or caregivers to participate in the program

Able to contract for safety

Age 12-18
